1Cor 3:16

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s spirit lives in you?”

No matter how much you think you belong to yourself, you don’t. You belong to the Lord. Your body is not yours, it’s the Lord's and you need to treat it as such. Just like you need to be careful about what you put into your spirit, you must be careful about what you put in your body. Junk deposits only return junk. Pay attention to what you are eating. Care for your body. Your temple is not yours, so treat it with respect.

1Cor 6:19-20

“Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, who you have received from God?”

You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your body. The Holy Spirit is in you. When you care for your body, you are honoring God. Everything you do with your body should be to honor God. For it’s not your body, it belongs to the Lord. God should get the glory out of everything in your life. Be healthy for the Lord.
